This most recent group of images is from our second visit to England. We first toured England with camera and tripod in hand, in 1988. Our return trip was even more exhilarating than the first. We picked the month of May for peak color in the glorious gardens throughout the area, mainly in Gloucestershire. Rolling uplands, wooded valleys, swift-flowing streams, hill villages and farmsteads, ancient sites, stately homes and lowly cottages...all are typical of the celebrated area in the west of England, known as the Cotswolds.
